120 Series Magnesium Sulfonates

SFA International offers a new line of magnesium sulfonates with up to 30% magnesium.  These products are similar to the well-known M-14 type product.  They are clear, highly miscible in crude oil and have exceptional tolerance to water.  Densities, viscosities and pour points are lower than M-14.  These products have the same low contaminant metals as found in M-14 type products.  These products meet combustion turbine manufacturer specifications for trace metals that lead to deposits and corrosion on combustion turbine hot path parts.

SFA formulated the product in a range of concentrations to give the same treatment in terms of magnesium per unit weight, unit volume and drum as similar M-14 based formulations.  These products are totally interchangeable with M-14 products in application.

These products are available in quantities from single drums to container shipments.

130 Series Magnesium Carboxylates (Combustion Turbines)

SFA magnesium carboxylates are now available in up to 35% concentration.  These improved products have unusually low viscosities and densities.  Their miscibility characteristics are ideal for use in refined fuel and residual oils.  These products meet combustion turbine manufacturer specifications for trace metals that leave deposits and corrosion on combustion turbine hot path parts.    

140 Series Magnesium Carboxylates (Boilers)

Boiler grade magnesium carboxylates are now available in up to 35% concentrations.  These products are ideal for treatment of vanadium and sodium deposits in boilers and sulfuric acid corrosion in the cold end section of boilers.  These products are available in drum quantities from 20% to 35% magnesium.
