Natural Gas Fuel Treatment

SFA International's FuelSpec® 114 and 115 Series combustion catalysts are designed for use in natural gas applications.  When spark- and compression-ignited reciprocating engines are operated under lean-burn conditions to reduce nitrogen oxides in the exhaust, they frequently cannot produce full power.  FuelSpec® 114 and 115 Series combustion catalysts permit operation of these engines under lean burn condition at full power with out failures.  The result is that engines can be operated under NOx control.  The result is 75% or more reduction in NOx in the exhausts and compliance with regulatory authority requirements.

There is generally sufficient fuel savings with use of the catalyst to offset the cost of the product resulting in NOx control at a net zero cost to the operator.

FuelSpec® 114 and 115 Series combustion catalysts have been formulated evaporate immediately into the intake gas into the engine.  SFA and JLCC Catalysts will provide catalyst injection equipment to introduce the product into the engine.

Technical Service

SFA and JLCC Catalyst Engineers will provide technical service to aid customers in achieving optimum results from use of FuelSpec® 114 and 115 Series combustion catalyst.
