U.S. Energy Independence A Plan for Energy Independence by 2020
Houston, TX - Read what experts in the energy field are saying about Walter May's book
"I appreciate the information you provided in your book and felt it was a catalyst that ignited me to become more focused on the need to take action as a Nation and find, develop and exploit alternative sources of energy. Thank you for being a great citizen and taking your time to help educate America."
Mark D. Hughes, President Liquid Minerals Group, Inc. New Waverly, TX 77358
"I found Dr. May's book thoughtful and extremely well
researched. It represents the foundation for a comprehensive U.S. Energy
Policy that is not supported by special interests or skewed by personal bias.
It points out that sacrifices must be made by everyone and that a strong
commitment to energy independence with a firm plan such as the this must span
three Presidential terms. I'm left wondering who has the leadership
strength to lock in a plan that's above party politics? Hello, Mr. McCain.
Hello, Mr. Obama."
Walter Cloudt, Engineer Wintara, Inc. National Heights, MD
"Dr. May's book presents
a very accessible and comprehensive overview of the energy supply challenges
facing our country, together with a creative set of solutions both short and
longer-term When the book appeared, its timing seemed perfect
considering the presidential election and the energy policy choices facing
voters. While its topicality has to some extent been overtaken by the
recent economic turmoil resulting in the collapse in the crude oil price and
the stronger U.S. dollar, the book still contains some valuable insights,
notably in terms of expanding nuclear power and public transportation.
Fuel for thought indeed....
Robert Boyd, Ph.D., President PentaSul, Inc. Independent consultant to the oil and gas industry
